Create an app through one of our app development templates, which are free and easy to use and then go to the link. Now you are all set to configure your notification set up. You will see a similar screen as below.
This is the complete dashboard you will see, and the app for which you are going to enable these notifications is selected on the top. In this case, we have selected the 2048 Game App, which you can also create using our platform.
You might have heard about the Firebase. It is a platform from where you can do numerous things. Sending app notifications is also quite convenient through it. We are going to use the Firebase platform because of its ease of use and effectiveness.
Currently, you can see that you are on the Push Settings panel, which is specially developed to aid you throughout the notification sending process. Visit the Firebase Console on the link given above. You will find an interface like below.
At first, you will need to sign in to Google through the platform, and then you will be all set to click on the Get Started button. You can also click on Go to Console option at the top right corner of the screen.
2. Add a Project
Now you are going to add a new project in the Firebase Console. If you are a newbie to this, there is an option on the screen to explore a demo project to get things started. If you are confident with learning new things without prior instructions, you can straightly click on the Add project option to start adding your first project. You will see an interface like below.
Importing an already developed Google project has also been made easier through this, as you just need to click on the Import Google Project option.
3. Create a Project
After clicking on the Add Project option, you will see an interface just like the photo below.
Write the name of your app or project in the textbox corresponding to the Project Name option. Select your country from the drop-down menu corresponding to the Country/region option. It’s the time when your project is created and ready to be configured for all the project settings. Click on the Create Project button to start the project creation process.
4. Modify Project Settings
Now you will be redirected to a brand new dashboard for your project. Our goal is to reach out to the cloud messaging section. Therefore we will have to go to the project settings at first. You can click on the settings logo on the top of the dashboard, like the picture below.
Click on the Project Settings option from the menu to go to a new screen.
5. Visit the Cloud Messaging Tab
You will be redirected to the settings tab of Firebase in which you have to select the Cloud Messaging tab option. The interface will be just as shown below.
As you can see, there is a tab named Cloud Messaging just after the General tab in Settings. You can adjust a lot of settings through the General tab as well, such as adjusting your project name or app name. Our primary goal is to reach the Cloud Messaging tab because the push notifications come under the department of it.
6. Configure the Server Settings
Configuring the server settings is the second last step to get to your notification sending goals. You will see a Server Key and Server ID of your Cloud Messaging platform like below.
Copy them and paste them into the space provided by the AppsGeyser’s website like below.
Copy and paste these values in the space provided and click on the Save button. Now you are very close to posting the notifications.
7. Create and Send Notifications

Now, your server settings are saved, and you are all set to get to the notification creation panel. Click on the Create Push button to start the journey. You will see an interface like below.
It’s the last step. Write the title of the notification in the edit text box given at the top, the body at the body section, and a button label. Click on the Send Push to get the answer to how to send a notification in Android.
